Answer: Whenever you can, as much as you can, until your life itself with all its daily activity becomes a conscious meditation.
What is important with the practice of meditation is consistency and feeling like you are in a safe space, free from interruption. Yes, there is something special about those early morning hours before the rest of the world awakens and hits the streets or the late night hours when it is the most quiet around you. In the end, though, the vital thing is to find your own unique space in your daily schedule when you can get quiet with yourself and go within.
For some, the best time to meditate is first thing in the morning before they do anything else. For others, it is the last thing at night. A stay at home Mom or Dad might find their best time to meditate is just after they have sent the kids to school and before they do the breakfast dishes. A working person might discover it is right when they get home from work as a way to wind down out of a stressful work day. I have some clients who have found their lunch hour, sitting in their car in the parking lot, is the only uninterrupted time they can consistently count on. Still others find their best time to meditate is just before they go to sleep. One woman I know, likes to meditate in a hot tub filled with scented water and candles.
If you have trouble finding that personal time slot, I wrote an entry on the Divine Light Vibrations Blog called “I Don’t Have Time To Meditate”. You might find some useful time management tips to help you carve that time out of your daily schedule.
If you haven’t yet found the section of the website called ‘Guided Meditations’, I suggest you go take a look. I recommend the Basic Activation of the Divine Light Vibration, which takes about ten minutes and is easily combined with any other meditative technique. I have put them on the website in every downloadable format my internet knowledge allows (limited though it may be) for your convenience.
I strongly recommend you peruse the lessons on the Principles of Divine Light in the ‘Open Your Mind’ section to assist you in your awakening process. There is also the section entitled ‘Activating the Alchemy’ to help your personalize the Light work that you do.
