“I want to be in my heart, but I just end up thinking about my process instead of feeling it. If I say, “I have a thought,” am I thinking or feeling?”
Words can be so limiting at times, can’t they? We want to be in our heart and, yet, we end up thinking instead of feeling.
To clear up the semantics, look at it this way:
A thought is the interpretation of a sensation or concept. It is a vehicle through which human sensations (or vibrations) become defined and manifest themselves into the human realm.
Every thought has a correlated sensation (or vibration), which precedes the formation of the thought into words.
Thinking mentally processes thoughts in polarity terms. Your heart will process thoughts in holistic terms.
Consider a thought as a 'thing' and thinking as the digestive process of the thought through the human psyche. The conclusion you come up with in your ‘thinking process’ depends upon how much is being processed through old emotions as well as the current state of your world view belief system. The more you have transformed old emotions, the more different is the conclusion you will make about a sensation. This is why you can reframe an old experience that was once hurtful, for example, into something from which you can learn.
The easiest way to discern if you are in your head or your heart is twofold:
1. As you express your thoughts, notice if you looking up (chances are you are in your intellect) or if are you looking down (chances are you are either in your heart or heading that way)
2.The closer your thought is to your True heart, the greater the sense of expansion and peace you will feel
Here are some links to other sections of the website where you can read more about this:

Actually, most of the entries talk about it in some way, shape or form, so these are just starting point suggestions. Go to Vibrational Voyages Road Map if you want to see all the entries laid out in front of you. Go with what ‘feels right’; that is most likely your Divine Soul guiding you towards your personal understanding.
