This principle might give you a good mental hiccup. Or, it might resonate for you right away.
All of the great religions talk about how an Infinite Intelligence, Omniscient Wisdom and Omnipotent Unconditional Love created all things. It has been known by many names in many different great religions. For the sake of neutrality, we have been calling this the Light or Divine Light.
As you have come to understand or, at the very least, are flirting with the concept and are coming to understand, this vibration of Divine Light is inherent in all things because it created all things. Its Omniscient Wisdom knows how to transform and transmute all things. There is no power greater than this Omnipotent Unconditional Love because all things come from the Divine Light.
So, how does It manifest Itself from the invisible realm to the visible here in our earthly existence? It manifests through our thoughts.
Once you understand the Principle of thoughts as things which produce effects, you're well on the way to spiritual freedom.
A simple module you could follow to wrap your intellect more fully around this Principle would be to consider a thought as the motor of manifestation. The emotional weight you give to any given thought is the gas which runs the motor.
You are already producing effects every single moment of every single day of your waking and sleeping life.
So the question is: how?
Consider your school science lessons when you learned that everything is made up of molecules and these molecules are in a constant state of vibration. Thus, each thing on this earth has its own unique vibratory state, including us humans. It is enough to take a moment to observe yourself to realize that each emotional state you experience carries its own unique vibrational state. When you're happy, you feel a certain vibration (even if you haven't used this terminology before), you emit that vibration and people respond to your happiness. Conversely, when you are angry, you feel a whole different vibration in your body, you emit a different vibration and people respond to that vibration, each in their own way. The same is true for all of your emotions.
There was a great acting technique I learned years ago in an acting workshop. It wasn't until much later that I understood why it was so powerful. At the time, I just knew it got results right away. I was extremely nervous in this workshop because the teacher was also a very active casting director and I wanted to make a good impression. My nervousness showed up in my performance because, from a vibrational point of view, we cannot hide the truth of our feelings. Needless to say, my scene reading was a disaster.
The teacher took me aside and whispered in secret to repeat the following mantra silently between each of my lines: I love you. My lines were the same, the blocking was no different and, yet, it totally changed my performance. The thing that made it so interesting to me was that it also radically changed the performance of my scene partner as well, which, of course, affected the dynamics between us... and he had no idea what she had told me to do differently. Afterwards, the entire class clamored to know the secret.
It was so simple, but effective. Why? Because thoughts are things, which produce effects.
In repeating silently to myself the words, “I love you,” I was no longer able to hold on to my nervousness. It was the thought itself which took me out of my fear and focused me on a different vibrational level.
This is true of any thought you repeat silently to yourself – I love you, I hate you, you make me sick, you are beautiful, I respect you, I don't like him/her, I really like him/her, etc. - because each thought carries its own vibration which you cannot halt nor hide. You may think you are hiding your real thoughts behind a Social Mask, but the emotional vibration of those thoughts cannot be faked. I experimented with this in later years in the acting classes I taught and it works every time. Yes, even with non-actors.
Choosing your thoughts as a mantra is also a very good life technique in all your relationships – with others as well as with yourself.
We will go into more detail in the following lessons about the nature of thought but, for now, begin to pay attention to what it is that is running through your head in the form of thoughts. Since thoughts are things, which produce effects, what effects are your thoughts producing?
EXERCISE:
1. If you want to try a very powerful mantra, say this silently with each person you interact with: “The Divine in me salutes the Divine in you, the Divine in you salutes the Divine in me.” Keep repeating that silently throughout the conversation and observe what happens between you and the one to whom you are addressing. If you want to add some really good refined thought vibration to it, mentally send a wave of Divine Love from your heart center to their heart center at the same time. Then, just experience the changes in you and the other person. If someone is reading you the riot act, that’s a really good time to practice this exercise. It’ll be more difficult, for sure, but their anger won’t be able to keep its same intensity.
2.Do the Basic Activation of the Divine Light Vibration meditation.
3.Take a look at any situation you have in your life and then try to discern what was the thought, or belief system, behind that circumstance. Write down whatever comes to you. Ask your Divine Soul for guidance. Sometimes, it’s easier to start with something obvious. This would be a good page in your journal to earmark and come back to at a later date after you’ve had more practice at activating the vibration of Divine Light.
Just as a motor will go faster when finely tuned, so is the case for your thoughts. The more finely tuned your thoughts, with the added emotional understanding of the Infinite Intelligence, Omniscient Wisdom and Omnipotent Unconditional Love of the Divine Light Vibration, the more rapidly you can produce changes in your life.
Here is something that might be interesting for you. I first came across Dr. Emoto in the docu-film called, “What the Bleep? Down the Rabbit Hole.” This docu-film endeavored to translate the concepts and mathematics of quantum mechanics into English for us non-mathematicians to understand. Dr. Emoto has studied the effects of the vibration of thought and music on water. Considering the major part of our bodies are made up of water, the ramifications of his work are very provocative. Naturally, his work is also very controversial amongst the scientific community since he is treading in areas where traditional science has not treaded thus far.
Take a look at this YouTube video which shows some of Dr. Emoto’s work on the effects of thoughts on water crystals, then decide for yourself. Each word carries its own vibration which can be seen in the water crystals.
If you want to see more videos offered on the subject, click in the YouTube link on the video. Since I did not do this video myself, it is here as long as the one who originally posted it on YouTube keeps it active. Should it no longer be available for viewing, I apologize and ask if you would be so kind as to pop me a quick email advising me as such: admin@vibrationalvoyages.com .
